Welcome to the new
Shoreham Weather site providing Real-Time Weather information for
Shoreham Beach, Shoreham by Sea,
Sussex,
UK.
There are also links to the BBC and Met
office 5 day
forecasts, Windguru and Windfinder wind forecasts and UKHO tides for Shoreham Harbour.
This site was constructed to replace
the now sadly non-functional shorehamweather.info site. A new
Shoreham beach weather station has been erected, a few hundred yards
west of the old location.
The site is still in its infancy and
will be improved over the coming months.
Webcam images have been improved and there
are now specific real time wind weather displays for sailing
and surfing, and searchable historic data (when we have some to
search!). Improvements have been made to both the weather station
server and web site and most of the causes of site downtime have
been overcome. Hopefully this site will be of use to those involved in
sailing, jet skiing, kite surfing, wind surfing, surfing, skiing,
canoeing, angling, fishing,
diving etc!
I have a list of improvements that have been requested by users
which hopefully will be implemented over the winter months!
